Pregnancy
Description: Mom's have a lot going on during the gestation process. Hormone changes, organs shifting, ligaments stretching, increased headaches and fluid and swelling. This massage is customized to your needs wether you want light pressure or deep pressure. It's all about decreasing your discomfort during pregnancy.
Hot Stone
Description: Smooth stones are heated to a relaxing temperature that soothes and relaxes the muscles on contact. This massage is primarily done with the stones with little hand to body contact. Light relaxing pressure is applied to the body so that the heat from the stones penetrates the soft tissues.
General Therapy
Description: This is your time to dedicate to your healing goal. From working out the kinks to just relaxing. This session is customized with my skills and tools to fit your needs. Some possible techniques we will use during this session are Deep Tissue, Swedish, cupping, gua sha, hot stone, Ashiatsu and/ or passive stretching.
Motor Vehicle Accident Treatment
Description:
I do medical massage for people who have been injured in a car accident. I have been working with car accident victims for over 14 years. *Please bring massage referral, claim number, and insurance information.
Lymphatic Drainage/ Post Surgery Recovery
Description: Post surgery massage is very important for a smooth recovery. Massage after surgery helps decrease swelling (lymphedema), scare tissue development, speeds recovery, and decreases pain. For acute clients Dr. Vodder's lymphatic drainage technique is applied. As the healing progresses and clients pain decreases we move into deeper techniques that will decrease the accumulation of scare tissue.
Plantar Fasciitis
Description: Knots build up in the bottom of the foot tissue from irritation. Causing pain usually at the heal with walking. Massage breaks up these knots completely resolving pain and irritation. This session is usually 30 min.
Carpel Tunnel or Tennis Elbow
Description: This session focuses on the forearm and hand muscles that cause elbow and or wrist pain. This session is usually 30 min.
Ashiatsu
Description:
Using my feet and my body weight this massage is deep and relaxing. No digging out knots with this one. Compression rings out the soreness in muscles as well as flushing out toxins. Clients often feel adjustments during this massage session. Please drink extra water before and after this therapy. People who may not get Ashiatsu: Pregnant women, server cases of scoliosis, or those with medical hardware in the back or neck..
Migraine / TMJ
Description:
These two conditions do not always go hand in hand.
TMJ therapy is done on the face focusing on the muscles that contribute to chewing. Clicking and lock ups decrease after 1 - 2 treatments.
TMJ focus is usually a 30 min. session.
Migraine therapy focuses on head and neck muscles to decrease tension and increase circulation.
